I would like to write that we’ve done tracking out in the snow, but I am not gonna lie. I have spent everyday chopping inch + ice off of my driveway, steps, walkways, back patio( this area gets no sun to help the situation). Even on a 60F day there is still ice & snow surrounding my patio grill…hubs not happy about this. Good way to find out how out of shape a body is. I feel lucky that neither dog has injured any body part. River has tried, by launching from the retaining wall and landing like a newbie ski jumper. Duck enjoys jumping after and eating the snow/ice chunks. And barking at the 12-15 deer that have been outside the fence.

We have done inside find the articles, downs, stands. And, now we will miss class for a rally trial. Really not how we had intended this season to play out, but things happen for a reason so we will just do what we can. We will find a way to track on Sunday 2/15.

Opted to have some fun with change of surfaces. Grass , gravel, pebbles, back to grass. This area had no puddles…a perk for me. Negatives or challenges for Duck were that high traffic kid play, and do
