Possible challenge for River is near a dog park, not many dogs, not too close and she's never played fetch there, so she should focus on tracking. Fetch time after as a reward.

Grass, sand mix in new location

River did fairly well, tracked as we passed dog park area. At last left turn had her head up and more coursing, no idea why. It is a soccer field though . But, I just stand still and give her no more line. With this she heads to go behind me... do I let her as she'll circle and find the track or should I really try to back up and keep her ahead of me? This time, she went behind.

River is just so calm in tracking, maybe it only appears as such to me and more experienced handlers would disagree. I possibly am sensing a bit more enthusiasm to get to the end article since trying out the fetch after tracking.

I know I should give her article tracks but she is so consistent on the down for articles that I am going to continue to do turn tracks.
