Progress in Spring, 2022, came to a halt with hot weather. Duck was at W30, F15...no scuff. He would just quit and lie down in mid track. He was doing staircase tracks, start tracks, dead end tracks. Also, in the summer, I introduced a bit of VST, from online course. He did curbs, sidewalks, pavement, roads, but only in the evenings and very, very short tracks. At first, he crossed roads exactly as I walked, but then switched to crossing at 90 degrees and coursing to pick up the scent.

October, 2022, new tracking season and Duck needs tracking rehab. Focus problem: he courses a lot at right turns. Homework after first working class: he's doing right turn start tracks.

Progress has been seen after working 3 different field areas. Went from wide coursing on 3 of 4 tracks, to currently only 1 of 4. All used S8;W16;F8

Secondary problem: Duck's intense pull. Trying to resist moving too quickly without stifling his enthusiasm.
