March tracking

3/21/23 - 3/24/23

Worked starts and multiple turn tracks. Scuffed 5 out of starts. Food drop only on legs that had baseball dirt. He's always done ok on dirt but I just wanted to make sure.

One start track had a dog and owner run across a leg. Duck picked up his head and wandered in the cross track direction but can back and put his head down to go on the track. He downed for every start on all the tracks this week. And for every finish. I think that if he has a straight and quick start that he hits the turns more efficiently and seems to be more focused on the change of direction. I did take him out during cooler part of day. He does tend to go a bit past the right turn and then swing back to it.

Going forward, I will also have to work on him taking water while on the track.
