S5 W30F15 Fields being used so didn't quite get a full stair step track.

Duck was perfect at his food free start and end articles, he downed to indicate immediately. The articles exercise is SO the best for teaching the indication. So, Duck wandered off to the left of the track on leg 3 as if it was a true turn. I am not able to see that this is a false turn, but it's not a blind track so I knew it wasn't a turn. I stood still, he ran out of line, only gave him about 10 feet, and he ended up quickly doing a jump pivot spin back to the actual track line. I feel I need to always watch out for this deviation. My plan is to throw down extra food on the next tracking day in the area where I think he may deviate. On the final leg, a dog ran over to him to say hello, which was fine as both were polite and Duck got right back to the track, and downed at the article.

I do enjoy Duck's excitement when he knows he's going to track. We are trying rally, but his joy is tracking.
