January tracking

1/31/23 Huguenot Park

T1: S5 W30 F15 T2: S5 W30 NF (no food drop)

Did two single turn tracks. Put food in end articles.

Almost 50 F, cloudy, humid, with moist grass, and going to rain soon. Duck was very excited to track. Downed at start, I gave him food, then he just started tracking. Did his right turn, and continued to article where he sniffed, swatted at it and then downed. No distractions present, he did a nice consistent and steady, not too rushed pace except for turning around to pick up food. On second track, we had same start with him downing and getting food from me. He was nose down and took left turn so precisely I smiled and almost laughed. He looked like he was having fun, despite encountering some squishy wet areas of ground.

Next track will omit food until end article.
