February tracking

2/7/23. Robious Middle School fields

Duck track pattern was walk only, NF on track or in articles. Track 1& 2 had one 90 degree turn each. Track 3 had left 90 degree and left open angle turn.

OMG ...Duck rocked the tracks! He was dead on the track line. His 90 degree turns were done quickly & precisely. On the final open left turn he continued forward passing the turn point, but he picked his head up, noticing lack of scent, I'm guessing, as he turned back and headed left to get the track to the final article. Perhaps he will benefit from the bounce back from dead end scent tracking exercise at some point. Noteable is that he down indicated all articles, even start. I fed him his hotdog pieces to encourage him. I was smiling during this track as he was moving at a good pace,, very focused. It was beautiful & very Zen.
