Duck in Fall, 2024

Duck continues to get the melanoma vaccine every 6 months, but so far there is no sign of reoccurrence.

He enjoyed the toss an article game over the summer, he usually sways at the article with a front paw and then downs.

In late September, he has done single short tracks on the yard. He is enthusiastic but definitely showing his age(7) as he does not pull quite as much and he has a lot of interest in other critters that are out in the area. It’s very random as when he hits the turn he speeds up. In my current CAM boot on my right ankle state, this is a bit challenging as I don’t have the balance an flexibility of my younger self.

Honestly I’m torn which dog to try to sign up for this year in tracking class. He has a wonderful nose. I do have a more challenging time reading him than River.
