12/31 notes

Planned start tracks for Duck. Did 3 much longer than usual as this location in NJ was kickass good for beginner level. Getting to start he was super excited for the new area and smells. Also, one field was under maintenance and there were flags everywhere. Our first track went through them, he ignored them after one quick sniff. Took his right turn very efficiently for him and this transitioned from one type of grass to another type. Still good in end article and he sped up nearing it and then downed. I did have to go through some woods and over a bridge and paved path to do next tracks. Even though Duck was leashed on collar, he still had his nose down and he followed my exact route over some fallen logs and side of the bridge...very cool. Also, most noticeable on all tracks, he did not pull super crazy hard. Even though I had flags to mark the turn, it had gotten so foggy that I would've been totally blind but for my double line ups in the distance. Age of his tracks was one hour.
