Stayed with S5, W30, F15 on what I had planned to be 2 start tracks, with a left and right turn, respectively. As I was laying track 2, pedestrian was headed my way and I asked to to walk across a section of the grass. Perfect cross track opportunity. So, I added a second turn to the second track and did the track line perpendicular to cross track. Aged about 30-45 minutes.

Turns out this cross track did not phase Duck in the slightest, maybe he turned his head, at least from my perspective. Perhaps more experienced handler would have noticed a definitive head tilt or turn. He appeared to have more of a coursing and extraneous sniff pattern on the still frozen ground where track 1 was located and the first leg of track 2.

And, exercise gloves without fingertips but padding on palm were most helpful to me in holding this skinny biothane line.
