S 5 W30 F15 pattern

Plan: doing longer straight track to work on using longer line, 33 '.

Outcome: After initial step out from start, I let line go to 10' and then allowed 15-20' . I had marked line at 20' to not go beyond that distance. Duck noticed and turned around, stopped and stood looking. I took a couple of steps and he moved forward. Then he noticed again as it was hard for me to hold and reel in the thinner line with the gloves I had on, mental note, bulky gloves are warm but not for me when tracking with Duck. Likely going to look into neoprene type for dexterity and warmth. This longer line was more of a challenge than I expected, but I haven't used on for about 5 years and I really didn't know what I should've been doing back then anyway.

Tomorrow I'm going with same track plan. Also, will put River, instead of Duck, so he doesn't think he should be tracking, on the long line in yard to practice tightening up and letting it run out.
