Long straight leg , short left 90 degree leg, Food @ 60 steps

Laid track, and let it age, so another dog arrived at park. This created a distraction environment for Duck as that dog was following River trying to take her ball. Duck was watching over his sister.on the first quarter of the track. I didn't move unless he seemed to show me tracking behavior. Probably would've helped to have more food down, but I let him work through the distraction. Is there ever a time where it'd be a good idea to just rewalk the track before taking the tracking dog out and add more food drops?

Once we were away from the dog park fencing, Duck was much more dead to the track. Surprisingly, he took the left turn very close to the actual pivot point

This turned out to be more challenging than intended due to the distraction, but distraction is his weak point, well, one of the ones that is obvious to me. He likely has a lot more that the untrained eye is missing. Pretty much everyone can read my dog better than me. 🤪

He enjoyed the tracking he did out at Coolwater after Rivers last class, so he will be happy to be back on that property for a track tomorrow.
