45F, misty rain, no breeze, aged an hour;

Duck - F@50 on longer right turns only track, but several distraction challenges. Squirrels and dogs walking to the left and soccer players to the right, and change of surface. Duck has done this cross from grass into slight ditch and on to gravel/pavement and back into a ditch to grass. I expect the surface change to not interfere with his track.

So, thinking that I should remove the food at 50 steps. For the most part he is turning around to go pick it up. Seems a bit frustrated that he's passing it and having to go back. Fortunately food drop ended up so that it was conveniently near a 4 squirrel party, and he stopped looked at them, ....and, he put his nose to his track (hoorah) or maybe the food! At another point he came back to me and went behind me to get the food drop. I was only giving him 10 foot on the line and more at the turns. These were right turns and he did raise his head so I paused, but then he was right back with head down and pull to tell me he had the right turning track. No food in end article, but he downs for indication.

Duck seems unfazed by the cooler temperatures and the rain, but he will readily hang out in the yard in cold and wanders the yard in the rain too.
