11/15/23 Duck - track recovery exercise

Duck did the track recovery exercise today @ Salisbury entrance which is a straight run through leaves and trees. Duck has done short article tracks in my yard's leaf covered area, which is a year round constant, so the ground wasn't a challenge for him.

This went pretty well after yesterday's challenge of learning not to automatically go forward from an article. On the 1st one he did go forward, but I stood facing that way. So, on the next two I turned 90 degrees to my left & he searched in front of me but then went around going to my right to the track. By the 4th article, he just searched around. So on the 5th, I turned to my right. He went in front then to the track. On the 6th, he searched around.

This a fun and helpful exercise to get them to not follow a pattern behavior.
