58F, warm & sunny, dry, short grass plus transition from one field to another by crossing pavement with slight shoulder ditch.
W50, F50, except added after crossing pavement.
Duck contemplated not going the right way at the start as he looked at the nearby field with taller grass, but then lowered his head to take the actual track. He again looked right at the turn but did his enthusiastic turn back on to the left turn. He had no problem crossing the road, did stop to pick up hot dog piece. I totally messed up as I should've scuffed out of the turns for him, especially the left turns, but I didn't. He still goes to the right, but his head is up both before coursing out and after. He didn't have much line on this outing so he was forced to stop quickly. Once he notices that I am not letting him go wandering he jumps around into focus and goes into tracking movement again.
Tomorrow, I M going to scuff out of the turns to see if this reduces the automatic check out the right side and tightens his left turns.
He did the different tail movement again, with flicking the tip more instead of holding it in tension.
He was all in all a super happy guy and thoroughly enjoyed the track.I am giving him more hugs and praise at the end as I love his enthusiasm.
