Hidden Rock Park- sunny, 66F, dry short grass

No scuff, food drop every 40 steps; distraction of 2 unfamiliar poodles playing in dog park next to track

Duck was excited to track. He did not pay any attention the other dogs nearby. He started right out and directly on the track. He just was really great. Got some of the dropped food. Picked his head up and stopped, I stopped too, he looked off to the right about 2/3 of the way down the long leg, but very quickly turned back to the track and did his pull to keep going so then I walked out with him at the turn he went a little beyond but he stopped, me too, and lifted head but then and spun left to take the turn

It was really wonderful.

Next time I will take him out for top hat or stair step track.
