Last post date had wrong date, should've been 10/14-15
Fields near Cabelas, Short Pump, VA
Today, two 90 degree turns with longer initial leg and shorter after turn.

Duck has had a nice steady pace so I wanted to try to keep that on longer leg.
Possible problem...He has this new quirk at the start, he did down to indicate, got some food reward, then he laid down again...so I gave him more food, but hoping this double down doesn't continue. That was probably the issue for this outing. He kept a constant pace, quick but not crazy. So happy with this trend. He does do a dramatic pull into the leg after turning on the new direction but then chills to the constant, quick pace. I should say it's quick for me and my short stride with inflexible hips, but others may find it a perfectly easy pace.
My plan is to get rid of the scuff and just do walk with occasional drag of my foot, maybe coming out of turns. He just loves this game! Maybe his age is showing as he seems to be in a calmer state. Although I can feel that he's proud to have his new tracking harness this year.
