River pattern: S8 W20 F10 on 4 turn track which turned out to be contaminated by little kids and their motorized car. As I finished putting in her track, they arrived with Mom & Dad and proceeded to run and follow the car's path across the track, around all the flags except for the last leg. I waited for them to leave and then took River out with pretty low expectations.

She continues to down indicate all articles. From the start article, she actually started right out on the track line. She found 1st right turn quickly, and stayed on her track on 2nd leg. Left turn was not as precise, she went forward passing the left turn, ended up going behind me and got the track. Her pull on the line is so much more subtle and gentle compared to Duck. Perhaps that's just me as experienced handlers would say she's easy to read. I was surprised at how close to the track line she stayed despite all the activity between laying and running the track. I expected her to get frustrated which she will whimper when that happens and she was quiet. She now likes having the harness placed on her as she now associates it with tracking. She wore a different harness during injury and rehab time so not the best initial association.
