Take aways from class, shorten up on line, keep line at the 'golden' degree of pressure when River is tracking, and more frequent food drops with scent pad food drop at turn. River downed for all 3 start articles and I tossed her some freeze dried chicken cubes. She got up and went on the track staying with spine aligned on track. Exception was deviation to pee mark. At T1 and T2 turns which had scent pad food, she laid down to eat. Just stayed there so I did tell her to track. On positive side, she did not short cut the turns, even the T3 turn with much less food. I kept her to less than 10 ft line length and she coursed the most on turn T1 but it lessened at each subsequent turn. On the final leg she was very focused on the track. Really a successful training session. Challenge was getting out to track as there are tree cutting guys in my yard, who showed up while I was at tracking class (not the planned day, so now I don't dare leave them there unsupervised ) to cut down diseased and dead trees in my yard.
Plan is to do same exercise with left turn focus or mixed turn.
