Our team goal for the week was to get better at approaching the turn, keeping her nose down on the track, not being to the sipped of the track, having River not cut corner, and moving to follow the scent at the turn on to the next leg. For my part, I had to apply the appropriate pressure to her line at all times, letting line out at turns.

Did we succeed? She does do a wider swing into the track on right turns. Her left turns are much tighter. This is better than last week. As far as remaining directly on the straight leg portion of the track....on first & second leg she seems to be to the left of the track with her head down and angled 45 degrees to the right for portions. I moved directly behind her and this did not make her move. She'd turn right to get food, 2 feet away, but then go out a few feet again. Suspect I just need to keep a lot of food on the track. But, then I'll probably end up with the same swerve track pattern that she started doing last season, when she only doing a longer leg and one turn.

Top hat track laid by Betty. Had one blind turn, the others were marked with low flags. This felt pretty good and I kept calm even at the blind turn. Determine to watch River for LOS and investigating
