Round 2

Scuffed 5 btw 8 articles in a straight line.

Haven’t done this game since September so it was interesting. River sort of forgot what to do. On first round she was slower to down indicate for articles. By the second she had gotten more used to the pattern and what she was supposed to do. So better down indications. I think I noticed better focus on the task during the second round.

There is always value in running through basic skills. Just when I think she has this…she doesn’t!

We worked in the house and in backyard on a mix of randomly scattered old and a new articles, glove & cell phone case. The strategy Jenn recommended worked ! Both dogs ended up doing down indication

Video 1, she is clearly confused. Not sure I’d do this game on harness in what I think is the back yard? I’ve got to go look at Betty’s game again…but….if my dog was that confused I’d immediately go to something easier and with less pressure, like “oops I dropped something.”
