Cloudy, wet, squishy grass and puddles. Primarily left turns of 90 degrees, one open right. Note to self, do more right turns, maybe on stair step track next.

S5W50F25 and after crossing ditches in front of and after the pavement path crossing.

Good start, downing for article and looking to me. I put the tracks around the kids playing catch with baseball, wondering about the distraction level. Turned out to be zero, as River ignored them. Then, next portion of track had a drone flying above and landing, taking off during the track time. Those people appeared literally as I was trying to age the track, only half an hour age on track. I tried letting line out to 20 ft and just getting a little closer at a few turns or the change of surface.

River does find the hot dogs except in doing the surface change, she ignored the 2 drops after finishing the ditch & path crossing. As she approached the ditch, she went along the edge to the left, turned went to the right, circled clockwise around me and went across on the track. Took a step or 2 sidewise for less of a broad jump, then went right on track.

I feel we did well on this length with challenges that weren't impactful ones. River held focus. Also, she notices when I stop moving, so she stops and appears to be surveying the environment. She's starting to do much more circling behind me and does pick up the scent and track...is this circling a concern? I recall that the dog should be able to do this, but how much is too much?
