Practice on a long first leg with one turn (right 90 degree). No scuff, W60, F30

No scuff did not negatively impact this track experience. River started out right away on the track. Kept food drops to make sure the track held her interest. She picked them up but in between them, she kept right on or very near the track. Finally, at the turn, she went beyond it but head came up and she turned sideways so I stopped and then she angled back onto the track. As she gets about 20-30 ft from the article, she speeds up. Trying to figure out if this is due to spotting the article with nose or eyes. Possibly, the pace could be be due to anticipation of fetch.

This was a short and sweet experience. Aging the track for 45 minutes took longer than laying and doing the track.

On Monday, I'm thinking of doing the stair step or starts after Rally class.

Top hat track laid by Betty. Had one blind turn, the others were marked with low flags. This felt pretty good and I kept calm even at the blind turn. Determine to watch River for LOS and investigating

Awesome! Loved that you tried no scuff, and didn’t see a difference. Now set that ‘test’ aside and use scuff when appropriate—where ever you think it might be hard, or she might appreciate the reinforcement (yup, scuff is reinforcement). Good job!
